i love how spring is just around the corner. i love the warmer weather, the blooming trees, the birds chirping, etc. i could go on and on. this picture brings me happiness. the colors are bright and loud and they just screams joy.
God has been revealing Himself to me more in the past few weeks. i am getting a small glimpse into who He is. growing up as a Christian, i thought i knew who He was. however, i am seeing a side of God i've never seen before.. it's like when you've known someone for about 10 years, you would claim you know them pretty much. this is much the same. God is showing me who He is and what He is capable of.
this week, i have three tests. but the Lord has just given me a calm about them! can't decide if that is a good or bad thing... but i am not stressing. i love this peace that i have. it's a new feelings for me. not only has He shown me this peace that He can give me, but He has shown me His great wonder. the song, what do i know of holy describes it perfectly:
then i saw a glimpse of who you might be... the slightest hint of You brought me down to my knees.
how blessed are we that He would reveal Himself to us: sinners. we don't even deserve His presence. every Sunday at FBO, we recite the very known verse, john 3:16. i love that we do this. it reminds us of why God did what He did. know why? because He LOVES us. He loves you. how cool is that?
