i want people to look at me differently. i want people to be able to see Christ in me. in the world, people dont care if you have a relationship with Jesus. they just want it to appear that way. people judge others by their good deeds or their quiet spirits. the most humble, selfless person in the world might not have a relationship with the Lord. the relationship: thats what really matters. 1 Timothy 1:18-19 says:

"I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight, holding on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so, have shipwrecked their faith."

i ask God to give me strength, each day, to fight the good fight with faith and a good conscience. its a struggle for me to fight the fight. most days, im just so gosh darn tired, i wanna give up. satan is constantly challenging me with the things that tempt me the most. i ask God that these challenges would truly strengthen my relationship with Him, not just appear to be strong.
