The weekend could not have been more perfect. Good company, good food, good memories made. For Jay's birthday, we just hung out with a bunch of his friends on Monday night, just the way Jay wanted it I think. On Sunday night, Jaybird cooked for me and it was deeeliciousss. I'm not the best chef in the world (or the best speller), so I just stirred the mashed potatoes. That was the only job I got :) Jay is a good cook though. I'm really jealous.

This weekend, I am going home again for Brennan and Jeremy's Wedding shower!!! wow, it's still hard to believe that they are getting married. It freaks me out; Brennan is just not old enough to be married! But she is... and she is marrying such a great guy. Jeremy is awesome and I am SO glad that Brennan found someone like him. He makes her laugh which is so important. He keeps his priorities straight and always does the right thing. It reminds me of someone else I know...my father! You always hear the saying that you marry someone like your dad. I can say that in this case; it is kind of true for Brennan! Jeremy is a lot like my dad. So what's not to like about him?! Let's just say that whoever I marry has big shoes to fill. My dad is the greatest dad, husband, son, Christian, friend, boss, etc. that I have ever know. When I was younger, I would always say that I was going to marry him :) I am so thankful for my Daddy and for everything he has done for me. I am truly blessed to have him as my dad! Isn't he handsome?
Anyways, here's the happy family: Jeremy, Brennan, and Cale. That's my man, Cale! While I am so happy for these two love birds, I'm maybe more excited about getting a nephew (Cale, that is)!! :) Not really, you two. I could not be happier for you two. I am so grateful for Jeremy and the impact he has made not only in Brennan's life, but in mine as well. Jeremy, welcome to the family, brother (almost)!!
